About Checkmate Safety

Two mates decided it was a “good idea at the time” to start a Test and Tag business. Little did they know what they were in for.

We started to offer a range of Fire Services to complement our Test and Tag business. We began selling and servicing Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets, Fire Hose Reels. We also moved into servicing Smoke Alarms and Exit Lights.

Our first Website kicked off, so we now had an online presence.

We began doing Pool Fence Inspections and Blind Cord Compliance to complete our services to Real Estates.

Started Franchising Checkmate Safety to keep up with demand and signed up our first franchisees.

We rebuilt our Website to include our new services – First Aid Kits and Home Safety Inspections for the elderly and NDIS. We continue to grow our franchise presence and are now expanding into NSW.
