In 2011, two mates decided to start a part-time Test and Tag business in rural Queensland; little did we know back then how it would flourish. We progressively added new services (Fire Services and Smoke Alarms) to keep the business growing over the years.

In more recent years, we have also added RCD Testing, First Aid Kits, Pool Fence Inspections, Thermal Imaging and, most recently, Emergency Evacuation Diagrams, all of which have been well received by our growing client base. We now service thousands of businesses and properties each week across Queensland and continue to grow year-on-year.

Checkmate Safety originated as a reflection of our humble beginnings, where the focus was on “mates checking equipment for safety”.
